Cannes winner Isabelle Huppert joins “Dead Man Down” thriller

PanARMENIAN.Net - Add Isabelle Huppert to the cast of Dead Man Down. The two-time Cannes Film Festival Best Actress winner will join Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Terrence Howard and Dominic Cooper in the underworld thriller, Deadline reported.

Niels Arden Oplev, who helmed the original 2009 Swedish version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, is directing.

The movie started filming last week in Philadelphia; Huppert begins her filming later in May.

It’s a busy year for the French actress. She has two upcoming films in this year’s Cannes Film Festival: Amour, directed by Michael Haneke, which Sony Pictures Classics is releasing in North America, and the South Korean drama In Another Country directed by Hong Sang-Soo.
