ANC next rally scheduled for May 8

PanARMENIAN.Net - The last rally of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) before the forthcoming parliamentary elections is ongoing at Yerevan’s Liberty Square.

The rally gathered the biggest number of participants of ANC recent rallies.

Armenian National Movement board chair Aram Manukyan delivered the opening speech, noting that ANC launched its election campaign on April 10 in Armenian town of Aparan and completed it on May 1 in Gyumri city. He further noted that the next ANC rally is due May 8.

Parliamentary elections, due in Armenia on May 6, feature 8 political parties, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), Orinats Yerkir, Heritage, Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA), Communist Party of Armenia and United Armenian party, as well as one election bloc represented by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).
