Armenia’s First Republic Day celebrated in Romania

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 27, Bucharest hosted events dedicated to Armenia’s First Republic Day at the initiative of the Armenian embassy and Union of Armenians in Romania.

Liturgy was served at St. Archangels Church in memory of Sardarapat Battle, with an exhibition opened in Armenian Union’s cultural center, afterwards.

Ambassador Hamlet Gasparyan, head of Romanian Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Church Tatev Hakobyan and the chairman of Armenian Union Varuzhan Voskanian came up with speeches.

“Deep knowledge of our culture and our values will make us proud of our contribution to the international politics from Caucasus to Cappadocia, from Pontus to the Mediterranean, from Mesopotamia to the Balkans,” the envoy said.
