ANC to miss National Assembly’s first meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 30, the Armenian National Congress (ANC) issued a statement during the first meeting of its advisory faction.

“May 6, 2012 was marred by rigged parliamentary elections instead of celebrating victory of democracy in the country.

On May 31, National Assembly will hold its first meeting, with most of the MPs having received parliamentary mandates through voter bribery, voter intimidation and double voting.

ANC’s parliamentary group won’t participate in National Assembly’s first meeting in protest against the crimes committed during Serzh Sargyan’s administration.

We will have active involvement in National assembly activity and do the utmost for it to serve platform for victory of democracy,” the statement reads.
