EU rep. says war rhetoric in Karabakh conflict zone inadmissible

PanARMENIAN.Net - The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia believes militaristic rhetoric and arms race inadmissible.

Asked as to Azerbaijan’s constant breach of provisions of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) and aggressive statements, Ambassador Philippe Lefort noted the war rhetoric and arms race as unacceptable, given the complexity of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

“EU is against the war, both accidental and planned, as it will become a tragedy for the whole region,” he said.
