Asked about possibility of renewal of war in Nagorno Karabakh, Vashadze said, “God forbid! A new war will be detrimental to both sovereignty and independence of all the three South Caucasian countries.” He further voiced hope that OSCE Minsk Group efforts will bring about discharge. “However, the third party takes active efforts to prevent achievement of progress and maintain tensions at the line of contact,” he said.
