Sylvester Stallone accused over son’s death

PanARMENIAN.Net - Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone and his wife have been accused over his eldest son's death, The Daily Telegraph said.

Sylvester Stallone's nephew Edd Filiti, 18, posted angry message on Facebook berating him and his wife Jennifer Flavin over Sage Moonblood Stallone's death.

Filiti, posted an angry message that suggested that Stallone himself was at least partially to blame for Sage's death.

In the posts, obtained by website Celebuzz but since removed, Filiti said that Stallone had essentially cut Sage, 36, out of his life, a move that devastated the filmmaker and may have lead to his early demise.

"What did he do wrong, say happy birthday," Filiti wrote. "Neither you [Stallone's wife Jennifer Flavin] or he could return a phone call, which is all he wanted, his father.

Sage was found in his Hollywood Hills home by a housekeeper, reportedly surrounded by bottles of prescription pills and empty cans.

Police officials did not specify what type of pills were found, and whether or not they played a part in Sage's death, though they said the death was likely an accident since no suicide note was found, and foul play was not suspected.

Filiti's criticism didn't stop at Sylvester Stallone. The angry teen also took exception to the actor and film producer's current wife, Jennifer Flavin.

Sage's mother, Sasha Czack, split with Stallone in 1985 after 11 years of marriage.

On Sunday night, Sylvester Stallone issued a statement asking "people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha," and for the media to stop "the speculation and questionable reporting."

"When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain... This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives," Stallone told website TMZ in a statement. "Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace."

Stallone had five children, three with Flavin his third wife.

An autopsy and a toxicology test have been completed, but the results of the latter will not be released for several days, if not weeks.
