Armenian blogger sues Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily for abusive article

PanARMENIAN.Net - Well-known Armenian blogger Tigran Kocharyan (username Pigh, Armenian for elephant) sued Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily for “A Fascist and an Elephant” article which targeted him with profanities and abuse.

“Anyone looking for a political context will be disappointed – the matter is purely journalistical. In my humble opinion, the author of an article containing abuse has no right to call himself a journalist, while the editor of a “newspaper” who allowed a profane article like this into publication is disgracing himself along with the whole journalist contingent. Such an attitude should be punished by law,” Kocharyan said in his Facebook post.

Should Kocharyan’s claim be satisfied, the sum received will be donated to Karvachar village schools.
