Armenia’s tourist, medical services cost soars in June![]() July 24, 2012 - 14:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 0,4% inflation was posted in Armenia’s service sector in June 2012 against 2011 results, with a 0,6% growth in culture-related services, 1,6% and 1,7% upsurge in recreational and medical services reported, RA National Statistical Service said. In the reporting period, personal services prices rose 0,1%; public catering and utility cost grew 0,15% and 0,2% respectively, transport price increased by 0,3%. 0,6% drop in juridical and banking services was posted, while prices in communication and education sectors remained unchanged. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
