Tsarukyan’s godchild to run for Abovyan mayor race - paperJuly 26, 2012 - 11:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhoghovurd daily, Prosperous Armenia party head Gagik Tsarukyan’s godchild Arthur Harutyunyan has resolved to run in Abovyan town mayor elections. Some members of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) have already give their preliminary consent and in all probability will endorse him, the paper says. However, almost the same happened during the parliamentary race, with RPA pledging to back Harutyunyan. As a result, only Prosperous Armenia leader gained entry to the parliament, the paper says.
