Prime Minister Sargsyan: ties with German federal states important to ArmeniaAugust 8, 2012 - 21:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with the delegation of German state of Hesse, headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Hessian Minister of Justice, for Integration and Europe Jörg-Uwe Hahn. Prime Minister Sargsyan stressed the importance of strengthening of Armenian-German relations, noting Germany as the biggest investor in Armenia’s state and private sector. “We attach importance to establishment of direct ties with Germany’s separate states. Your visit will enable to have a better image of cooperation prospects,” he said. Mr. Jörg-Uwe Hahn, in turn, noted that Hessen may play a significant role in development of trade and economic relations. Priorities of bilateral cooperation including in the technical and financial sector were further discussed, government’s press service reported.
