  Heritage urges Armenian voters to back opposition at local elections August 20, 2012 - 18:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage opposition party has nominated a number of candidates for local government elections due September 9. The party called on the voters to cast their ballots for opposition candidates, hoping Armenians will back its nominees. Heritage will endorse ARF Dashnaktsutyun’s candidate Hovsep Simonyan at the upcoming Gyumri mayoral race, the party’s press service reported. Partner news  Top stories Prior to the vote, RPA parliamentary group leader Galust Sahakyan announced the party’s decision to vote against the bill. At the meeting, the parties focused on the prospects of bilateral relations, and cooperation in the framework of international organizations.
