Working group on Syrian Armenian issues set up

PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 22, Armenian Ministry of Diaspora hosted a meeting, with over 100 Syrian Armenians participating.

Diaspora Minister noted that an agreement had already been reached on Syrian Armenian issues, with solution to particular problems outlined.

“Syrian Armenians contribute to problem solution and effective organization of the work,” Hranush Hakobyan said.

Issues related to execution of accommodation, education, health documents were further discussed.

Minister Hakobyan voiced gratitude to Syrian Armenians and ministry representatives for effective cooperation.

Upon completion of the meeting a working group was set up to assist Diaspora Ministry in addressing Syrian-Armenian issues.
