Israeli consul to Caucasus arrives in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Israeli consul to the Caucasus has arrived in Yerevan on the occasion of 20th anniversary of Armenia’s Jewish community.

“The visit isn’t linked to consular activity. Israel’s Minister of Information and Diaspora and other officials will also arrive in Yerevan on an official visit to mark the Jewish community’s 20th anniversary in Armenia,” Ron Schechter told a news conference.

On Augsut 24, 4.30 pm local time, Yerevan will host a ceremony dedicated to 20th anniversary of Armenia’s Jewish community. A protocol on cultural events will further be signed.

On Aug. 26 the Jewish delegation will depart for Georgia.
