Russian expert says Eurasian Union in need of common ideology

PanARMENIAN.Net - Director of the Russian Center on Post-Soviet Area Studies noted development of common ideology priority for Eurasian integration project.

As Alexey Vlasov noted during Yerevan-Moscow-Astana-Kyiv spacebridge, though the world “ideology” bears a negative connotation for older generations, the youth is free from such stereotypes.

Executive Director of Noravank Scientific-Educational Foundation, Gagik Harutyunyan, in turn said, “Ideology currently transforms into a security and competitiveness center.”

From August 22-27, Armenia’s resort town of Tsaghkadzor hosted the first Eurasian youth forum “Young Eurasia”. The event has brought together delegations from 14 CIS and Baltic states, as well as from Transnistria and Gagauzia unrecognized republics.
