Armenian govt., USAID sign agreement on check point modernizationAugust 27, 2012 - 18:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - An agreement on launching and co-financing of “Modernization of Bagratashen, Bavra and Gogavan check points” program was signed between Armenian government and United States Agency for International Development (USAID), with Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan present. The document was signed by Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan and RA State Revenue Committee head Gagik Khachatryan on Armenian side and USAID acting permanent representative in Armenia Dirk Boberg. “Modernization of Bagratashen, Bavra and Gogavan” program aims to upgrade the check-points with super-modern infrastructures, government’s press service reported. Armenian Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan and European Investment Bank (EIB) director of planning and settlement of operations Heinz Olbers signed a loan agreement envisaging allocation of euro 30,316 million for modernization of Bagratashen, Bavra and Gogavan check points.
