Armenians to stage protest at Hungarian embassy in Washington

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenians are gathering in front of the Hungarian embassy in Washington to protest extradition of Armenian officer’s murderer Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan.

“The Hungarian government has released a vicious murderer Ramil Safarov, an Azerbaijani military officer sentenced to life in prison in Hungary for hacking to death an Armenian officer during a 2004 NATO program. Safarov was sent back to his homeland and, despite assurances, immediately pardoned and freed by Ilham Aliyev,” the organizers’ statement says.
