  Hovannisian resigned MP seat to prepare for presidential race – Heritage rep. September 10, 2012 - 15:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian’s decision to resign his MP seat was made in the latter’s preparation for presidential elections, the party spokesman Hovsep Khurshudyan said. As the spokesman noted, by the end of September, Hovannisian will make a statement to explain the reasons behind his decision. Earlier on Monday, September 10, Hovannisian submitted an application to give up his seat in parliament. According to parliamentary regulations, the application will be accepted in 15 days upon its submittal unless the MP recalls it.
