Ex-minister Oskanian appears at Armenian NSS![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Prosperous Armenia member, former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian had to appear at National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia on October 8, 12:00 am. According to Oskanian’s office, the ex-minister would face the NSS at 12 am, instead of 11 am, as mentioned in agenda. On October 2, Armenian National Assembly resolved to strip Prosperous Armenia member, former Foreign Minister Oskanian of deputy immunity with 64 votes for, 6 against and 1 invalid, following two-day discussions over Civilitas Foundation fund misuse charges. The investigation has revealed that 100% shares of Huntsman Building Products company were sold by USD 2 mln, with the transaction not submitted to the tax authority to evade the taxes. Moreover, the investigators claim that Civilitas Foundation founded by the ex-minister didn’t submit the 2011 report, with USD 1mln, meant for charity purposes, used for personal needs. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
