PACE Armenian delegation composition to change – paper![]() October 10, 2012 - 13:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhoghovurd daily, though Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member Naira Karapetyan denied the rumors suggesting she’ll replace parliament vice speaker Hermine Naghdalyan as a member of Armenian delegation to PACE, recent reports proved the fact. As Hermine Naghdalyan stated at a parliament-hosted news conference, she won’t be joining PACE delegation, for lack of a precedent for a vice speaker to be included into a delegation. “However, back in 2003-2008, then vice speaker and later, speaker Tigran Torosyan was included into Armenian delegation to further become its head,” the paper said. Partner news Dwelling on the hike in gas prices, Iskandaryan said the change also affected other countries importing Russian gas. Armen Martirosyan noted that the price rise will further deteriorate the situation in the country, fostering emigration. In this connection, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian left for Strasbourg to attend CoE foreign ministers meeting.
