PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met Thursday, Oct 18, with American-Armenian philanthropists Sam and Sylva Simonians to discuss a possibility of establishing Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Stepanakert.

According to President Sahakyan, the existence of such a center will be among the investments into the intellectual field, which will give a serious impetus to the development of information technologies in the republic and capabilities of the younger generation.

The project could also help strengthen ties with the Diaspora, according to him.

Prime Minister Ara Harutunyan and other officials also attended the meeting, reported the Central Information Department at the Artsakh President's Office.
