UNWTO head hails Yerevan-hosted international tourism conference

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai.

President Sargsyan called attention to Yerevan-hosted international conference on “Universal Values and Cultural Diversity in the 21st Century: How can tourism make a difference?”, with tourism ministers from different countries participating.

UNWTO head, in turn, highly assessed the discussions held in the framework of the conference, with Yerevan declaration on intercultural dialogue unanimously adopted.

The two men further discussed programs targeting development of tourism in Armenia.
