 Catholicos of All Armenians hails AGBU efforts October 20, 2012 - 19:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II attended the 87th general assembly of Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. “AGBU members have addressed numerous problems in our spiritual and national life, giving ardent hopes to the Armenian people. The Union has many times contributed to the implementation of the programs of Armenian spiritual center, proving its commitment to Holy Etchmiadzin,” Catholicos of All Armenians said. Karekin II further noted that AGBU’s efforts contributed to establishment of charity dining rooms, reconstruction of churches, monasteries, spiritual and educational institutions.
