Armenian, Russian military officials discuss defense cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Commander-in-chief of Russian Army, Colonel-General Vladimir Chirkin was visiting Armenia from October 23 through 25 to inspect fighting capacity of Armenia-deployed Russian military base.

Meetings with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and the Chief of Staff of Armenia’s Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov were on Russian military official’s agenda.

The meeting focused on a number of issues, including the activity of the Russian base, as well as military and technical cooperation between the two countries.
