Anne Hathaway confirms role in Steven Spielberg's “Robopocalypse”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Anne Hathaway has confirmed her involvement in Steven Spielberg's Robopocalypse, Digital Spy said.

The star of The Dark Knight Rises had previously been linked to the project, but had yet to speak about the film publicly.

Now the 30-year-old has told Empire that she will definitely appear in the film if and when it starts shooting next year.

She said: "If Robopocalypse happens I will be in it and I believe it's quite real, though you never want to hang your hat on anything."

She continued to say that the appeal of working with Spielberg was too great to turn down, adding: "Whenever I'm taking time off, I always joke to my team that I'm on vacation unless Steven Spielberg calls.

"And I was on vacation and Spielberg called. So I was like, 'OK, put my money where my mouth is'."

Other actors in the running to appear in the sci-fi epic include Chris Hemsworth (The Avengers) and Ben Whishaw (Skyfall).

Hathaway will next be seen in Les Misérables, set to be released on December 25 in the US and on January 11 in the UK.

Meanwhile, Spielberg's biopic Lincoln will be released on November 16 in the US and January 25 in the UK.
