French-Armenian musician André Manoukian to perform in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - French-Armenian musician André Manoukian will perform his first ever concert in Yerevan, Mezzo Production PR expert said.

As a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter was told, the concert, organized by Mezzo Production and NURCARD cumulative program under the auspices of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, has been scheduled for December 16, 7 pm.

The tickets are already available for prices ranging from AMD 5 000-20 000.

André Manoukian was born in Lyon, France in 1957. He began playing the piano when he was seven years old. At 20, he studied music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Upon returning to France Manoukian started a jazz band called Horn Stuff. Manoukian wrote for such artists as Michel Petrucciani, Richard Galliano, Charles Aznavour, Freddy Zucchet,Gilbert Bécaud, Diane Dufresne, Nicole Croisille, Natacha Atlas, Janet Jackson, Myriam Abel, Camille Bazbaz et Malia.
