Diaspora ministry, YSU sign cooperation agreement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and Yerevan State University (YSU) rector Aram Simonyan signed an agreement on cooperation in education and culture for 2012-2017. The document envisages organization of joint scientific conferences, internship programs for the students and publications.

It also stipulates continuation of RA Diaspora Ministry’s summer school and master’s program in Diaspora studies at YSU.

Minister Hakobyan gave high assessment to the agreement reached, noting the establishment of the Chair of Diaspora, organization of important scientific conferences and conduction of reaearch works among the key accomplishments, the ministry’s press service reported.
