Armenian President: Baku foils Karabakh agreements

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan’s destructive position on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement remains a serious threat to the region, Armenian President said.

“Even the agreements reached on creation of mechanisms for investigation of incidents at the line of contact and removal of snipers are foiled by Baku,” Serzh Sargsyan said at a CSTO Collective Security Council meeting, adding that Baku continues arms race in the region.

“Resumption of hostilities following the armistice signed, as well as the threat of war are direct violation of the international law. It is the most short-sighted way to a new wave of violence, hatred and bloodshed,” RIA Novosti reported quoting President Sargsyan as saying.
