Agriculture Minister, Greek envoy discuss cooperation![]() December 19, 2012 - 16:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan met with Greek Ambassador to Armenia Ioannis Taghis. At the meeting, the Minister thanked the government of Greece for assistance to Armenia's agriculture sector. The parties further focused on the ongoing efforts for creation of Armenia-based laboratory to control chemicals in food and certification of beverages. The officials exchanged views on current state of agriculture in Armenia and Greece, as well as efforts for its development, agriculture ministry press service reported. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
