Armenia placed 89th in Democracy Ranking 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Democracy Ranking 2012 downgraded the quality of democracy in Baltic states, with Estonia dropping 3 points to take 25th spot. Lithuania dropped 4 points to be placed 31st, Latvia lost 4 points to take 33rd spot.

CIS countries were ranked as follows: Moldova (52nd), Georgia (58th), Ukraine (61st), Armenia (89th), Russia (88th).

The top 10 countries are: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland, and Austria, media sources said.
