Armenia must hold “the most democratic polls” in Feb – minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Conduction of more democratic elections will help Armenia solve both domestic and external problems, Justice Minister said.

As Hrayr Tovmasyan noted during the opening of a three-day discussion on election violation cases, Armenia reported tangible progress in establishment of democracy.

He further listed election legislation, political and legal culture and will of the ruling authorities as the three key preconditions for democratic polls.

“The upcoming presidential elections must become the most democratic in the history of Armenia,” Minister Tovmasyan said.
