Released Javakhk activist visits St. Echmiadzin church in Tbilisi

PanARMENIAN.Net - The leader of United Javakhk Democratic Alliance Vahagn Chakhalyan visited Tbilisi-based St. Echmiadzin monastery immediately upon his release from prison Thursday, January 24.

The former political prisoner was welcomed by the Primate of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan and Armenian community representatives.

Political prisoners Armen Gevorgyan and Ruben Shekoyan, released 10 days ago, were also among those welcoming Chakhalyan.
