Heydar Aliyev Foundation petition posted on White House website![]() January 29, 2013 - 14:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A petition on Nagorno Karabakh conflict has been posted on the website of the White House website. The text, cited from Heydar Aliyev Foundation, alludes to “1 million refugees and 20% of Azerbaijani territory.” The petition, which also refers to “Armenia’s failure to fulfill 4 resolutions of UN Security Council”, may be put on the agenda of the U.S. Congress, once it attracts 100 000 supporters until Feb 22. It also noted the U.S. as an OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair pursuing mediatory activity on Karabakh conflict settlement. Another petition urging for opening of Armenian-Turkish border was earlier posted on the White House website. However, it didn’t garner the necessary number of votes. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
