Poll: Armenian voters not interested in pledges to fight oligarchy![]() January 29, 2013 - 15:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - “Sociometer” sociological center conducted a survey aimed at revealing public expectations from Armenia’s 4th president. “19.2% of the respondents considered themselves poor, 79.6 said they have moderate living conditions, with 1.2 of them confessed to living a wealthy life,” head of the center Aharon Adibekyan said, adding that according to UN standards, RA population’s 45 % live below the poverty line. “The citizens interviewed named job creation, salary and pension pay rise as a priority. While struggle against shadow economy is in the focus of presidential candidates’ programs, the point was not among priority concerns,” the sociologist said, adding that the respondents were least concerned about Armenia’s foreign policy.
