Guidelines released for those involved in Armenian polls

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of Central Election Committee (CEC) Tigran Mukuchyan met Feb 2 with NGO representatives accredited as observers for Feb 18 presidential elections.

Mr Mukuchyan briefed the NGO representatives on the work carried out by CEC, stressing the importance of the manuals and guidelines released for those involved in the electoral process.

Issues related to the elimination of inaccuracies in voters' lists were further discussed, with the observers’ rights and responsibilities specified.

Upon the completion of the meeting, the commission chairman underscored the importance of the reports submitted by the election missions, CEC press service reported.
