Hayrikyan urges candidate Ghukasyan to join forces

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian presidential hopeful Paruyr Hayrikyan met with another candidate Andrias Ghukasyan, who has been on hunger strike for already for 20 days.

As Hayrikyan wrote on Facebook social network, he offered Ghukasyan to join forces for the upcoming polls and nominate a common candidate.

Paruyr Hayrikyan earlier addressed an open letter to candidates Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan with a similar call.

Candidate Ghukasyan demands for the candidate of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan to be disallowed to run for president.

7 candidates will run for the post of Armenian president: Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan, Heritage party chairman Raffi Hovannissian, leader of Freedom party, former prime minister Hrant Bagratyan, former foreign minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan, National Self-Determination Union party head Paruyr Hayrikyan, Radio Hay director Andreas Ghukasyan and literature expert Vardan Sedrakyan.
