Ambulance crew to watch by candidate Ghukasyan’s tent

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Healthcare Derenik Dumanyan visited today, Feb 13 presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan.

Armenian Minister of Healthcare Derenik Dumanyan visited today, Feb 13 presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan , who has been on hunger strike for already 24 days.

Minister Dumanyan warned of the health problems that the strike may cause. He further instructed to set up an ambulance crew of resuscitation specialists on standby to provide the candidate with the necessary professional help.

Andrias Ghukasyan went on hunger strike 24 days ago, demanding for the candidate of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan to be disallowed to run for president.

7 candidates will run for the post of Armenian president: Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan, Heritage party chairman Raffi Hovannissian, leader of Freedom party, former prime minister Hrant Bagratyan, former foreign minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan, National Self-Determination Union party head Paruyr Hayrikyan, Radio Hay director Andreas Ghukasyan and literature expert Vardan Sedrakyan.
