Activists urge against recognizing final voting results

PanARMENIAN.Net - A group of young activists have gathered outside the building of the Central Election Commission of Armenia (CEC), in protest of the results of Feb 28 presidential elections.

“CEC is nothing, but a picture gallery. The CEC and OSCE must not recognize the rigged elections and the oligarchic regime,” the activists said, noting election frauds as top crimes.

In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, one of the activists Nvard Vardanyan stressed the need for punishing all those behind the violations.

Today, Feb 25, CEC will announce the final results of the presidential election.

“Approval of rigged elections is a state crime. All those recognizing the rigged elections will be persecuted by people,” the activists shouted, urging against recognizing the final results of the polls.
