Ex-presidential candidate jailed for 2 months in Hayrikyan case

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former candidate in Armenia’s presidential elections, literature expert Vardan Sedrakyan has been taken to a regular court of Yerevan Central Community.

The court ruled for a preliminary 2-month jail term for Sedrakyan, a person who wished to remain unknown told PanARMENIAN.Net

According to earlier reports, Armenian National Security Service, investigating the attempted murder of candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan, applied to the court with a request to detain Sedrakyan.
