SDHP leader hails government’s support to Syrian ArmeniansMarch 9, 2013 - 17:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met March 9 with the leader of Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) Setrak Ajemian, board member Vazgen Kaltaktchian and Armenia-based SDHP board leader Gevorg Perkuperkyan. Mr Ajemian congratulated President Sargsayn on the reelection, wishing him good luck during his second term in office. He highly assessed Armenian government’s activities, haling the country’s reform implementation. Mr Ajemian noted Feb 18 elections as a step forward, with positive responses reported abroad. The party leader gave high assessment to Yerevan’s policy and support extended to Syrian Armenians. The guests further stressed importance of unity in offering solution to national problems, reaffirming the party’s readiness to continue support to the authorities. President Sargsyan, in turn, thanked for the congratulations voiced, underscoring the role of SDHP in the solution of national problems and the party’s readiness for cooperation.
