CSTO Joint Staff Chief, Armenian Defense Minister discuss cooperation![]() March 15, 2013 - 20:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chief of the joint staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Russian Lieutenant-General Alexander Studenikin met March 15 with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, first deputy defense minister David Tonoyan and RA armed forces general staff chief Yuri Khachaturov. Reforms aiming to boost the efficiency of CSTO military committee and joint staff, as well as cooperation between CSTO member-states were in the focus of the discussion. Alexander Studenikin arrived in Armenia on March 14. Dwelling on the hike in gas prices, Iskandaryan said the change also affected other countries importing Russian gas. Armen Martirosyan noted that the price rise will further deteriorate the situation in the country, fostering emigration.
