DAB project accepts applications for Yerevan-hosted workshop![]() March 23, 2013 - 15:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Directors Across Borders (DAB) project is currently accepting applications for a Story Development Workshop for feature films which will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, 6-10 May, 2013. The Workshop will focus on the creative aspects of story development and will help emerging scriptwriters, producers and directors gain the fundamental skills to create more engaging cinematic stories and package them in ways that will make them more competitive in the global film market. The Story Development Workshop is part the DAB project supported by the European Union through the Eastern Partnership Culture Programme and implemented by GOLDEN APRICOT Fund for Cinema Development in Armenia and its partners: MAIA (Italy), Cinema Art Centre Prometheus (Georgia), and INTERNEWS (Armenia). Throughout 2012-2014, the DAB project will provide a series of workshops, trainings and networking opportunities for film industry professionals for the EU Eastern Partnership region and beyond. The DAB project supported by EU Eastern Partnership Programme has already organized several workshops and trainings, including the Story Development Workshop that took place in June 11-15, 2012 in Yerevan; DAB Regional Co-production Forum July 10-12, 2012 in Yerevan; two ATCP (Armenia Turkey Cinema Platform) workshops - one was held from April12-14 in Istanbul and another one from July 9-11, 2012 in Yerevan; CJAB (Cinema Journalism Across Boarders) training July 4-7, 2012 in Yerevan, Producers Workshop December 4 - 8, 2012 in Tbilisi, Georgia and Films Across Borders presentation conducted in Yerevan, Minsk, Kiev and Tbilisi during 2012, dabhub.com reported.
