Armenian Apostolic Church marks Palm Sunday

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Apostolic Church marked the Palm Sunday with liturgies as violet willow branches were handed round in the churchyards as a traditional sign of good luck and welfare.

This tradition marks Christ’s triumphant entry to Jerusalem. Palm Sunday signals the beginning of the Holy Week that finishes with Easter.
