Dimension Films nabs “Ink And Bone” horror-thriller specMarch 28, 2013 - 16:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Dimension Films is dipping their pen in Ink And Bone, a spec written by writer Zak Olkewicz. The spec, which was preemptively purchased, has been described as a horror thriller in the vein of Dimension’s hit film 1408, Deadline said. In the film, when an editor is dispatched to help a reclusive horror writer finish his latest book, she discovers he’s being held prisoner in his house by everything he’s ever written. “I immediately read and loved the concept of Zak’s script,” said Bob Weinstein, co-chairman of The Weinstein Company. “It reminds me of Stephen King’s work and I feel that INK AND BONE could be a successful upscale thriller for Dimension.” Overseeing production for Dimension Films are SVP of Production and Creative Affairs, Matthew Signer and VP of Production and Development, Keith Levine. Olkewicz, who recently appeared on the 2012 Young and Hungry list, is currently developing his first spec MARKED at Chernin Entertainment.
