Knesset to hold discussion of Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 23, Knesset will hold a discussion of the official recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Spokesman of Ararat Union of Armenians of Israel Mendel Korsunsky told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that the issue was on Knesset’s annual agenda for the past five years due to pro-Armenian MPs.

“However, the Israeli government has so far failed to officially recognize the Armenian Genocide. The union calls on everyone who put morality above political interests to participate in April 24 action to protest the denial of the Armenian Genocide,” Mr Korsunsky said.
