MP urges for removal of Armenian-Turkish protocols from NA agenda![]() April 29, 2013 - 12:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A four-day parliamentary session kicked off in Yerevan with Heritage party’s parliamentary group secretary Zaruhi Postanjyan urging speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to remove Armenian-Turkish protocols from the agenda. “As National Assembly speaker, you possess the leverage to struggle for the removal of the protocols. Protest actions and demonstrations must be held if other leverages cannot be exerted,” the MP said. Mr. Abrahamyan, in turn, noted himself unauthorized to remove the protocols from the parliament agenda. “The ratification of the protocols would boost the economy,” he said, adding that the documents are unlinked to the Genocide recognition or political processes. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
