Armenian envoy vows to contribute to stronger ties with Vatican

PanARMENIAN.Net - A newly appointed Armenian ambassador to Vatican Michel Minasyan presented the copies of his credentials to the Assessor for General Affairs of the Secretariat of State Peter Wells.

Welcoming the envoy, Mr Wells hailed Armenia’s decision to open an embassy in Vatican

The ambassador further pledged to contribute to the development of friendly ties between Armenia and Vatican.

A meeting with a number of Vatican officials was also on the envoy’s agenda, with a potential for the expansion of ties with Armenia discussed, Foreign Ministry press service reported.
