Armenian bill on discrimination sent to Venice Commission

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage party’s parliamentary group held a discussion of a bill on “Discrimination”, drafted by Human Rights Defender’s Office.

Heritage party’s parliamentary group leader Ruben Hakobyan, secretary Zaruhi Postanjyan, party’s expert Voskehat Isakhanyan and representatives of RA Ombudsman’s office attended the discussion

Civil society representatives shared their concerns and offers regarding the draft law, with the employees of Armenia’s Human Rights Defender’s Office noting that the bill was already sent to Venice Commission.

The parliament group leader expressed the party’s readiness to organize expanded discussions on the issue.
