Bryza links Armenian-Turkish rapprochement to Karabakh issue

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Union and the U.S. made a big mistake by separating Armenian-Turkish rapprochement from Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, former U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan said.

At “EU-Azerbaijan: security and integration" conference organized by the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SAM) and European Policy Centre, Matthew Bryza said Karabakh conflict resolution and regulation of Armenia-Turkey relations are interrelated.

The former envoy stressed the need for Yerevan to realize that Karabakh settlement will lead to Armenian-Turkish rapprochement, APA reported.
