PanARMENIAN.Net - Filth has debuted a new trailer. James McAvoy stars in the black comedy from director Jon S Baird, Digital Spy said.

The Trance actor stars in the adaptation of Irvine Welsh's 1998 novel as crooked Edinburgh cop Bruce Robertson.

The cocaine-addicted, violent detective finds himself drawn into the mystery surrounding a racist murder.

Imogen Poots, Jamie Bell, Joanne Froggatt, Eddie Marsan and Jim Broadbent also star in the movie.

Filth will arrive in UK cinemas on September 27. International release dates are yet to be announced.

Welsh's Trainspotting was famously adapted into the 1996 Ewan McGregor-starring film.
